Classroom Computer Training

Computer training is offered to children, as well as adults. Children’s classes include keyboarding, writing (using the computer), and using the Internet (including www, ftp, email, and instant messaging). Basic classes for productivity applications are available to older children, usually beginning at age 9 or 10. These classes include Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Our computer training for children involves the acquisition of skills that are relevant to language or mathematics literacy, as well as other educational purposes.

In addition to children’s computing classes and office productivity classes, we offer training classes on buying, setting up, and maintaining your PC, managing your file system, and using peripheral devices (such as printers and cameras).

Individual Computer Training & Assistance

We offer computer training and assistance for individuals and their families ranging from PC setup and installation, to software installations and computer programming. We also offer training and assistance to small businesses that are looking to upgrade their computer systems, upgrade or install software or virus protection, or setup a network environment. Our Computer Training & Assistance can be regularly scheduled sessions at our location, or can be done on an as-needed basis at a customer’s site, depending on availability.
